3. I just tried to install THINWORX on my Windows 2003 server to start experimenting with. It would not install since there is something running on port 80 already?

  1. Stop any other services (as IIS) using TCP 80 port.
  2. Install THINWORX, and assign it to listen a dedicated IP through Manager Interface (THE default setting is to listen all IP of the NIC); restart the service.
  3. Assign other IP's to other required services as IIS.
  4. This allows each service to target its own IP and TCP 80.

4. What ports do I need to open on my firewall for THINWORX to work?
Port 80 for the controller/portal and 3389 for the application server.
